ALUMNI ASSOCIATIONS & PARENT-TEACUER'S ASSOCIATION

Right from the inception of the University, we have recognized the significance of our old students in shaping the destiny of the institution. We, at the University, are of firm belief that the institution can march ahead in the new Millennium by keeping pace with the latest developments world over in the field of industry, economics, commerce, trade, management, computer, information technology, etc. Almost all the institutes of the University have their Alumni Association. The First Alumni Association of the University came into being on February 17, 2001 with a Grand Alumni Meet at Udaipur School of Social Work.

The main objective of the Association is to strengthen the Profession and the University by providing opportunities of development and job placement to the students. The Association holds its meetings from time to time. The Association has been very active since its inception and has organized several Extension Lectures, Workshops, Seminars and other programmes of Curriculum Development. The Association has also helped the University in its resource mobilization.

An allied Association is Parent-Teacher's Association. It has also been active since its inception. Every Department and Unit in the University has its Parent-Teacher's Association. The meetings of Parent-Teacher's Association are held at least twice in a year. Besides, the Parents are also invited to grace the special occasions of the University. The University has kept itself in touch with the fast changing academic scene by inviting suggestions from the Parents and incorporating them into the curriculum from time to time.
