Community Center Department

Established in 1953

Community Centers Department was established in 1953 with the main objective to awaken social, cultural and educational awareness among the rural Community. This department provides social and adult education, pre-school and primary education, functional literacy facility etc. in the rural areas of Udaipur District.

This is a constituent department of LOK SHIKSHAN PRATISHTHAN.

THRUST AREAS

•     To make people realize the importance of Community Life.
•     To create documents and progressive outlook in the rural people.
•     To organize and arrange activities to meet people's needs; interest and asiration for a democratic and dynamic society

ACTIVITIES

•     Pre-school Education Centres
•     Distribution of literature to Children at home.
•     Organizes Social and Family Welfare activities.
•     Displays news on blackboard at street corner.
•     Mobile Library
