About The Institute

The Institute of Management Studies (IMS) is a growing premier institution in the field of management education and in the development of ideas that shape the person's understanding of business.

IMS was developed by the University, as an important organ of the Management Faculty, with a view to providing excellent education to the aspiring managers. It offers a Two Year Full Time Master's Degree in Business Administration, duly approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

Though of recent origin, the Institute is striving hard to prove its excellence and is all set to attain high standards of quality education in the coming years. It is consistently engaged in moving ahead with a view to revamping and reorienting the curriculum, the teaching pedagogy as well as the examination system. The Institute is well equipped with the latest teaching methodologies, audio-visual equipment including LCD Projector, a rich library with a reading room, a computer lab etc. Its excellent rapport with Industry/business houses exposes the students to the complex problems of the real world faced by the business executives.

IMS prepares students for their challenging new role in management. It employs a broad range of teaching methods, maintaining proper balance between lecture & case study and between individual & team approaches to management. Students are given flexibility to explore areas of special interest by offering them a variety of program opportunities.

The new program initiated this year, is structured to ensure that each student passes out with a leadership level  knowledge of all management disciplines as well as the conceptual and analytical skills underlying these disciplines.
